It has been six years since I passed my MA degree in Languages and Cultural Studies specialized in English and I am now offering you several linguistic services.
I’ve always been fond of languages and as Ludwig Wittgenstein said:
« The limit of my language mean the limits of my world »
During my university years, I had the opportunity to go to Nottingham, in the UK, thanks to the program Erasmus +. I lived in the English culture that had fascinated me until then. Afterwards, I went to Linlithgow, in Scotland, for an internship in a translation agency and it confirmed me what I had hoped for many years: languages were going to be my job.
I am deeply interested in cultures and traditions and that’s why, when I travel, I do my best to deeply understand each country, either it is the United Kingdom (England and Scotland), Spain, Italy, Malta, Croatia or even Sweden.
Besides being a translator, I am also an English teacher. This job shows me how difficult the language barrier can be and this strenghtens my motivation as a translator. I have been a Project Manager in a translation agency for three years now. That’s the reason why I truly understand all the things we can cross during a project.
I’ve already had the opportunity to translate different documents, especially from English into French, such as:
• Texts related to an organisation,
• Websites,
• Quotes,
• Newsletters,
• Manuals,
• Applications and stories from immigrants,
• Webcomics,
• Medical documents
Besides my professions, I am also active on languages learning websites in order to improve my languages – as a progress is always achievable – but also to help other people to learn and practice French.
