During my studies at university, I could choose to learn another language. I’ve chosen Simplified Chinese: this language without any alphabet and with different tones… But also the language of the future! With more than one billion of inhabitants, China showed its importance in today’s world. Furthermore, mandarin becomes essential as more than one billion of people speak it throughout the world.
For more than three years now, I’ve been proofreading Chinese birth certificates into French, which strengthened my knowledge of this language but also brought me solid foundations regarding the running of the administrative in the People’s Republic of China.
